If the player decides to exercise theright to do this he/she will pay the buy-in fee to the casino. This money is then added to the prize pool, which the casino has no share of.Besides the time limit which is usually 1 hour, there are specific requirements that have to be met before the rebuy can be made. A player must have the same or less chips as the starting stack. It is also possible to make a double rebuy in case the player loses all his chips. A player who has lost all tournament chips must decide directly if he/she wishes to make a rebuy.  All active players must be dealt cards.

Add-on - An add-on is a rebuy with two specific conditions; it can only be done after the last rebuy hand and this possibility is given to every player regardless the amount of chips they are holding. The type of the add-on used in the tournament is pre-announced before the start.
